Lindsay and Mark are such a special couple. I’ve known Lindsay since kindergarten, and she’s always been one of those cheerful, laid-back people who can brighten any room. When I met Mark I knew she had met the perfect guy for her. He’s goofy, grounded and overall really, really nice.
Their wedding was straight out of a fairy tale. It was held at the Pine River Ranch in Leavenworth, where the couple owns a cabin. It’s always so special when a couple chooses a location that holds significance to them. Throughout the day you could see in their faces how much they loved where they were, and that really translates in their photos.
Onto the images! Bear with me, this is a very image-heavy post. 🙂
The dress was a gorgeous Maggie Sottero.
Lindsay gave her bridesmaids the most beautiful gold leaf necklaces. They suited the event perfectly.
The flowers were done by Bloomers in Wenatchee, and were (as you can clearly see) breathtaking.
Mark left Lindsay a super sweet card. Watching her read it made me tear up.
Time to get into the dress!
One of my favorites:
Then it was off for the reveal. I love the emotion in this series.
Lindsay and Mark set aside lots of time for individual photos, which was so much fun.
The day was gorgeous for an outdoor wedding. The sun was high and bright in the sky and it wasn’t even too hot.
Lindsay made such a gorgeous bride.
Prior to the ceremony, Mark and Lindsay were approached by Mark’s uncle, who gave Lindsay a pair of Mark’s late aunt’s earrings as a wedding gift. It was a poignant, beautiful moment and I felt really lucky to be there to capture it.
Then it was time for the ceremony. Lindsay and her dad rode in on a carriage which was pulled by a beautiful white horse.
The ceremony was very sweet and dotted with lots of humor, including a reading about how love is like owning a dog. 🙂
A congratulatory hug from the brother of the groom.
I’m telling you, these flowers were out-of-this-world beautiful.
Can you see how the base of Lindsay’s bouquet is a bird’s nest?
The reception was held inside the big red barn. I was completely smitten with the country details and white twinkle lights. A photographer’s dream!
The cake was made by one of the bridesmaid’s mom, and it was delicious!
And lastly, one of my favorite captures of the day.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Lucas! It was an honor!
